Quite a while ago, we obsessed about missing bollards at the top of Camberley’s High Street. We speculated that the latest bollard to disappear would not be replaced. We were wrong! Here is its successor.
In our defence, we had what seem like good grounds for our speculation. Bollards on the opposite side of the road – which probably do get struck by vehicles manoeuvring a tight corner – have been missing for quite some time and have not been replaced.
Complete with the usual quality job of bodging some tarmac around it rather than replacing the pavers!
Afraid so. I guess we should find out who is paid what to do what before being TOO critical, but contractors will presumably do as little as possible unless they’re managed properly…..
